Day 1

So today was my first full day in Tennesse. I stayed at my usual hotel although I have to move to a temporary one for the next 3 days bleh. I feel pretty close to a homeless person living out of my car with a lot of my things packed tightly. So Im sitting here pretty bored b/c I'm usually cleaning, on the computer and or watching TV. Well, the cleaning is out and watching TV and being on the computer is easy. Its pretty much that alot of the cool things to do on this side of town (hiking, etc) you can only do during the day. I did make a fun run to WalMart mainly for something to do. Picked up some cute shoes. Can you believe they have no cold weather clothes hardly anywhere? Its going to be like sub-zero in 3 weeks and everyone is still wearing shorts! I am trying to get a job for now at Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge. I wanted to be a Southern Belle greeter...you knowthe kind. Big hoop dress, southern drawl etc. Its so annoying though b/c the past 2 times Ive been there the hiring manager is out and today I picked the wrong time to come and they had like a staff mtg in 15 min. The personnel chick swore she'd give my application to the asst hiring manager. Im hoping she does, and trying to take the notion that if its meant to be its meant to be and if not - well then there are a gajillion other places to look, but it would be cool to wear a hoop dress. lol. Thats about it. Tomorrow morning I have to pack up and hang around until 4pm when I can check into my other hotel. I'll probably hit the mall and some stores in Knoxville. Im really hoping I can get inot the school systems soooooon. Thats about it. Thank God that "When Harry Met Sally" is on. Thats my fav. :)
